Hi! My name's Niamh, and I'm a leader with the Guide and Ranger sections of Templeogue Guides. I was in Brownies in Rathfarnham, Guides in Templeogue, Beaver Leader in Templeogue Scouts and a Venturer in Terenure Scouts, left for a while and came back in 2002 to restart Templeogue Guides (it closed earlier that year).

What I really love about being a leader is seeing the girls take the initiative to organise things themselves. I'm telling you, given the chance teenage girls could run the country! Apart from working with the girls (obviously) the best thing about being involved still is all the friends you make in Guiding, the opportunities available nationally and internationally, and all the fun stuff we get to do at events ourselves.
